Mini Dungeon Adventures - Custom Characters

Merry Christmas everyone! Here's a list of all the custom characters I've made so far for Mini Dungeon Adventures, the awesome game you can download for free at his creator's blog.

  • Hercules and Iolaus from "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys"
I recently discovered this great show (I used to watch Xena: the Warrior Princess when I was little but I had no idea these guys had their own show) and I recently discovered Mini Dungeon Adventures, so...

  • Wonder Woman.
My favourite super-heroine. I don't like the New-52 version tough, I liked her best in her golden age comics and in the JLA animated series.

Mini Dungeon Adventures - Slide Trap

Hey guys! On my first post I'm going to teach you how to build a slide trap for the awesome papercraft game Mini Dungeon Adventures (which you can download for free at Jim Bowen's Blog, the game's creator).

This is what the game looks like. I fell in love with it when I first saw it. So cute! The rules are very simple and don't get in the way, and the simple graphics allow for a lot of easy customization.

I played one quick test game with my boyfriend and now I'm in the process of building my first full dungeon. I've seen people glue the whole dungeon together but I think it's better to make each room individually so you can reuse them and save time and ink.

This is how the trap should work if you build it correctly. It's very simple as you can see and it's not designed to actually throw the character into the lava, but to make him fall down and stay in the slide so the player has some time to come up with a solution.  If you want the hero to actually fall to his death, you'd have to make the first platform one floor higher. But that's just mean.

Remember to use a box-cutter softly on every edge that needs to be bent, specially on the slide, otherwise it won't fall down when you remove the support wall!

I hope you enjoy it and don't forget to check out Jim Bowen's blog! And of course, Merry Christmas!
